GP recently honored the legacy of Dr. King by giving away 800 backpacks stuffed with school supplies to Seminole Elementary School in Donalsonville, Georgia. The school has a personal connection to GP, as it is a neighbor to the GP Cedar Springs Containerboard facility. Due to Hurricane Michael this past year, the children were in critical need of basic school supplies. GP took the opportunity to partner again with the Kids in Need Foundation’s Second Responder program to not only purchase the supplies but to fill the bags and handwrite inspirational notes for the children.
