Georgia-Pacific Gives Back to First Responders

Georgia-Pacific donated funds to the Lufkin Texas fire department, who purchased gas detectors that can sense and identify chemicals in residential and industrial facilities.

Throughout 2023, communities in which Georgia-Pacific has facilities received funding to ensure emergency personnel have the equipment and facilities they need to help when it is needed the most.

Georgia-Pacific donated funds to the Diboll, Texas fire department. The department purchased tri-band radios, which can transmit and receive messages over multiple frequencies, allowing first responders to communicate with several emergency agencies simultaneously.
